The situation experienced these months has highlighted the importance of work spaces and the need to have exclusive areas for this purpose, both inside and outside of properties to accommodate their residents’ changing work habits. Along these lines, the Covid crisis has fueled a growing trend in other international markets, and to accommodate resident's work habits, apartment and condo developments are now adding coworking spaces as an amenity, some even open to non-residents. Multifamily developers can earn with this an incremental revenue from their coworking space while also improving the work environment for the buildings residents.

This is trend not only in in large cities but also in coastal and holiday areas since with this health crisis we have seen that work can be carried out away from an office building.
