All data provided must be up-to-date and accurate to ensure their truthfulness at all times. Therefore, it is necessary that you notify us of any changes so that your data always reflect your actual situation.

PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING

The processing of your personal data aims to ensure the establishment, development, and fulfillment of the service contract with PEACE OF MIND. This processing is essential for PEACE OF MIND to meet its obligations arising from the contractual relationship.

Sending of commercial communications:

In accordance with the Second Final Provision of Law 9/2014, of May 9, on Telecommunications, which amends Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, electronic commercial communications must be clearly identified as such, and the natural or legal person on whose behalf they are sent must also be clearly identifiable, notwithstanding the regulations issued by the Autonomous Communities with exclusive consumer protection powers.

The above shall not apply where there is a prior contractual relationship, provided that PEACE OF MIND has lawfully obtained the recipient’s contact details and uses them to send commercial communications concerning its own products or services similar to those originally contracted by the client.

When communications are sent by email, the message must include a valid email address or another valid electronic address where this right can be exercised. Sending communications without such address is prohibited.

The recipient may withdraw their consent to receiving commercial communications at any time simply by notifying the sender of their decision.

In any case, PEACE OF MIND offers recipients the option to object to the processing of their data for promotional purposes through a simple and free procedure, both at the time of data collection and in every commercial communication, by contacting info@peaceofmindmadrid.com.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Based on the legal relationship established, personal data will be retained:

  • Throughout the duration of the contractual relationship and, after its termination, as long as the data processing is necessary to handle any potential liabilities or claims arising from the relationship and still pending resolution.
  • Subsequently, data will be retained for the applicable legal periods depending on the purpose for which they were collected and in order to comply with the requirements and responsibilities of the relevant legislation.

Once these periods have elapsed, the data will be deleted, unless you have authorized their processing for specific purposes for a longer period by giving your consent. In such a case, the data will be retained until you withdraw your consent, without prejudice to your right to object at any time.

PEACE OF MIND will not transfer your data to third parties, except when required by law or regulation.

However, your data may be processed or disclosed, in accordance with the purposes described above, to the following recipients:

  • Third-party partners or providers, when necessary for the management of services provided by the Company. In all cases, PEACE OF MIND signs data processing agreements with such providers to ensure that they handle the data in accordance with PEACE OF MIND’s instructions and in full compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
  • PEACE OF MIND may also disclose the collected personal data in specific cases where such communication is required by law or demanded by competent authorities
